Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a dynamic Manufacturing Engineer to join the Operations team at Space Coast, FL. You will lead the design and implementation of efficient manufacturing systems, ensure stringent quality control, and optimize supply chain logistics for Production/Operations.

The role requires collaboration across design, quality, and production teams to accelerate building a road to space, with responsibilities spanning process documentation, tooling, and validation of new production

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, industrial, or process engineering roles.
• 3+ years creating English work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Industrialize new products (solar arrays, integration/test, avionics, structures).
• Translate requirements into robust manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation and inspection plans.
• Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies and methods.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Ensure AS9100/ISO 9001 alignment for safety and quality.
