Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking spacecraft development engineers to build and validate multidisciplinary models and simulation tools for lunar transport systems. You will work with MATLAB, Simulink, and TRICK to ensure model fidelity and support verification activities.

Qualifications

• BS degree in one of the specified engineering or science fields.
• 2+ years of software development and debugging skills, particularly in C/C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.
• Strong fundamentals in rigid body dynamics, fluid mechanics, and physics-based modeling.
• Familiarity with auto coding Simulink to C++.
• Experience with CI pipelines and configuration management.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible for U.S. work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Actively involved in developing tools to design, build, deploy and support our simulation infrastructure.
• Develop and integrate multidisciplinary models for multi-vehicle simulation using MATLAB, Simulink, and NASA’s TRICK framework.
• Collaborate with GN&C and other subsystems engineers to support model development.
• Support the development and execution of simulations and tools for verification of functionalities.
• Interact with engineers across disciplines to validate models.
