Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an engineer to coordinate design efforts for fluids and propulsion systems within the Lunar Permanence unit. You will lead design, analysis, and testing of fluid subsystems and ensure they integrate with other groups across projects related to the Blue Moon landers.

Responsibilities include delivering CAD designs, performing analyses, and managing schedules, with emphasis on safety, quality, and collaboration to advance spaceflight capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in aerospace propulsion and fluid systems.
• Experience with spacecraft or launch vehicle fluid system design or test.
• Detail design experience for aerospace fluid systems and components.

Responsibilities

• Design and route fluid subsystems (pressurization, pneumatics, RCS).
• Work with fluid components (valves, regulators, pressure vessels).
• Operate 3D CAD programs (Creo) and FEA (ANSYS).
• Deliver designs with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards and documentation.
• Verify components to company standards; testing and data analysis.
