Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Fluids Systems Engineer to work within the MK1 Fluids Systems Engineering team. You will apply your systems engineering, fluids and propulsion expertise to drive cross-functional trade studies and integration across the Lunar Permanence program.

Lead subsystem design, analysis, and test activities, ensure clear communication of architecture, and collaborate closely with engineers, software, and operations to advance the lunar vehicle concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in fluids, propulsion or aerospace systems.
• Ability to lead cross functional teams, drive multi-subsystem integration, and conduct trade studies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience across the full SE development cycle (concept to test).
• Experience with fluid/gas components (solenoid valves, manifolds, pumps, regulators).

Responsibilities

• Work at significant technical depth on complex subsystems with minimal oversight.
• Lead subsystem trade studies from concept through approval and implementation.
• Address trade studies, design/integration, analyses, and test support for fluids systems.
• Update subsystem architecture diagrams and schematics with clear communication.
• Apply systems engineering fundamentals across development lifecycle.
• Integrate fluids and propulsion with overall vehicle design and operations.
