Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior structural analyst to lead static and dynamic analyses for the Blue Moon Mk2 Crew Lander propulsion and support systems. You will work within the Lunar Permanence team to ensure safety, reliability, and weight optimization for spaceflight hardware. The role requires a B.S.

in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years of experience in FEA for pressurized components, plus proficiency in ANSYS and CAD tools. U.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in structural and dynamic analysis of pressurized components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural and dynamic analysis of valves, tubing, mounts, COPVs, etc.
• Identify opportunities for safety, cost, and weight savings.
• Support configuration development and trade studies.
• Review supplier analyses of COTS valves and support qualification efforts.
• Maintain and report on tasks, schedule, and status.
