Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an Engineering Operations Lead for the MK-1 Lunar Lander Avionics team in Seattle, WA. You will guide avionics product delivery from requirements through flight deployment, interfacing with hardware, software, and verification teams.

You will manage scope, schedule, and cost, coordinate with the IPT, and drive agile planning and scrum practices for fast-paced avionics integration.

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years in aerospace/defense or related industries and experience with firmware/hardware development.
• 3+ years in technical program management of firmware, software, and hardware.
• Experience with hardware integration teams or suppliers in embedded development.
• Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile and project tools like MS Project/Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operating cadence and report KPIs for avionics development.
• Create boards/tools for project health, including data for reviews.
• Act as scrum master for avionics teams and drive sprint planning.
• Support agile product planning and release activities.
• Define, monitor, and track all deliverables across IPT.
• Maintain integrated master schedule with dependencies.
• Coordinate with integration facilities to ensure on-time delivery.
