Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Engineering Operations Lead to coordinate MK-1 Lunar Lander avionics work, reporting to the IPT and guiding software-hardware integration through design, verification, and deployment.

You will manage schedules, risks, and communications, lead agile practices for avionics teams, and partner with external facilities to ensure on-time delivery while upholding safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Aerospace/Defense/Automotive, designing or producing firmware and embedded software interfacing with hardware.
• 3+ years in technical program management handling firmware, software, and hardware projects (requirements, scope, schedule, cost).
• Experience with Agile or Scaled Agile and with project management tools like MS Project or Primavera.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the team's operating cadence with stakeholder communication and metrics.
• Generate boards/tools for project and product health (WBRs, Lunar Program reviews).
• Perform scrum master role for avionics teams and support agile planning and release cycles.
• Define, monitor, and track all deliverables from the MK-1 Avionics IPT and their use.
• Maintain an integrated master schedule with dependencies and deliverables.
• Coordinate with internal and external facilities to ensure on-time avionics delivery.
