Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an Engineering Operations Lead for the MK-1 Lunar Lander Avionics Team. You will partner with the IPT to deliver avionics products powering the MK-1 lunar lander, from requirements through deployment, while communicating status, risks and recovery plans to management.

Key responsibilities include maintaining cadence, implementing boards/tools for product health, and leading agile planning and release activities across hardware-software integration efforts.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, CS or related field.
• 3+ years in aerospace/defense with firmware/software interfacing with hardware.
• 3+ years in technical program management for embedded/hardware projects.
• 3+ years working with hardware integration teams or suppliers.
• Experience with Agile or SAFe and project tools.
• Collaborative in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operating cadence; report KPIs for avionics development.
• Create boards/tools for project health and reviews.
• Scrum master for avionics teams; define and execute sprints.
• Support agile planning and release activities.
• Define, monitor, and track all deliverables from MK-1 Avionics IPT.
• Maintain integrated schedules with dependencies.
• Coordinate delivery with test environments and facilities.
