Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in Grand Prairie, TX seeks a Dock Supervisor to lead dock staff, set targets, monitor performance, and coach and develop teams. You will manage an efficient, safe LTL operation, including dock planning and schedule setup.

You will enforce policies, participate in hiring and termination, drive the Service Center plan, meet KPIs, oversee communications with customers, and ensure paperwork is accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in management, dispatch and dock operations in LTL trucking is desirable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock staff; set targets; monitor performance; coach and develop the team.
• Enforce company policies and safety rules; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in hiring and termination decisions as needed.
• Administer portions of the Service Center Business plan; align with Manager.
• Meet KPIs and ensure timely, accurate paperwork and reporting.
• Coordinate dock planning, scheduling, and equipment movement.
