Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in New Jersey is seeking an Operations Manager to lead drivers and staff, set targets, coach performance, and ensure an efficient, safe LTL operation including dock planning and schedules.

You will enforce policies, participate in hiring/terminations, oversee service center plans, meet KPIs, optimize freight movement, and communicate with customers to resolve scheduling issues. Safety training and interviews are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience; Bachelor preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Experience managing LTL operations and dock processes.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with AS/400 and MS Office helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead drivers and staff; set targets and monitor performance.
