Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based LTC Specialty Account Manager to lead commercial activities in an assigned geography and drive product adoption in long-term care facilities. The SAM will act as a disease-state expert, build relationships with LTC care teams, and navigate payer policies, patient access programs, and coverage tools to ensure timely access for patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical/biotech sales with 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling.
• Top 10% or Elite/Presidents Club performance desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC product adoption in facilities and via LTC care teams.
• Navigate payer policies, patient access programs, and reimbursement tools.
• Develop territory business plans to meet quarterly and annual goals.
• Build strong, ethical relationships across the LTC ecosystem and with healthcare professionals.
