Acadia Pharmaceuticals seeks a field-based Sales Specialist in the Miami, FL area to drive LTC sales and build strong care-team relationships. You will promote Acadia products with disease-state and reimbursement education, address questions, and execute quarterly plans within budget.

Travel up to 80% is required, with leadership responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration. Candidates should have a life sciences degree and 3+ years in healthcare/pharma sales (neuroscience preferred);

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, life sciences preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare sales; neuroscience preferred.
• Executive level requires 12+ years healthcare sales with complex/account-based selling experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with LTC care team members including physicians and pharmacists.
• Deliver compliant clinical, disease state, and reimbursement education tailored to customer needs.
• Identify customer questions and objections with advanced selling skills.
• Develop knowledge of customers, practices, and market trends to inform business planning.
• Create quarterly territory plans and maximize reach within budget.
• Guide on pricing, reimbursement, and LTC profitability; liaise on access questions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business needs.
• Represent Acadia at conferences, launches, and trainings.
• Mentor junior sales staff and share field insights.
