Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals seeks a Sales Specialist to drive long-term care territory growth by building strong relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and facility leadership to ensure appropriate patients are identified and maintained on therapy.

You will promote products with compliant clinical and reimbursement education, develop territory plans, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to address business needs while traveling as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, life sciences preferred.
• 3 years sales experience with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical or related healthcare sales, neuroscience preferred.
• Sr. Specialist: 8+ years healthcare sales with complex/account-based selling.
• Executive level: 12+ years healthcare sales with complex/account-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with LTC care team members including physicians, NP/PA, pharmacists, and nursing facility leadership.
• Promote Acadia products with compliant clinical, disease state, and reimbursement education.
• Identify and address customer questions and objections with advanced selling skills.
• Develop knowledge of customers and market trends; apply insights to business planning.
• Create quarterly territory business/action plans within budget.
