Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities across an assigned geography. You will become a disease-state expert, account champion, and build relationships with LTC care teams including psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses, and pharmacists.

The role emphasizes territory planning, payer navigation, and cross-functional collaboration to support launch activities and access programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
5+ years pharma/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club performance demonstrated.
Launch experience strongly preferred.
Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple tasks under tight timelines.
Strong digital marketing aptitude and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
Develop a comprehensive territory business plan with account plans for targeted LTC facilities.
Promote products within approved labeling ethically and in compliance with guidelines.
Navigate payer policies and patient access programs and assist with prior authorizations.
Collaborate across corporate functions and report territory activity to management.
