Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities for an assigned geography, executing marketing strategies to support a successful launch and meaningful patient outcomes.

The SAM will be a disease state expert, account specialist, and collaborate with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses, and pharmacists; responsibilities include developing territory plans, promoting within labeling, and navigating payer policies and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
Demonstrated top performance (Top 10% or Elite/President's Club).
Launch experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
Call on LTC care teams and build relationships across the LTC ecosystem.
Develop territory business plans and account plans to meet quarterly and annual goals.
Navigate payer policies and patient access programs (e.g., prior-authorization).
Promote products within approved labeling ethically and legally.
Provide feedback to sales and leadership on market changes.
Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
Travel as required.
