Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities and support a successful launch with measurable patient impact.

The SAM will be a disease-state expert and account specialist, building relationships across psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses, and care teams while navigating payer policies to optimize patient access and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling.
• Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club performance.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships across the LTC ecosystem.
• Develop territory business plans and account plans to exceed goals.
• Navigate payer policies and processes to ensure patient access.
