Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on CNS conditions, is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities in a defined geography, including Santa Monica area. The SAM will act as disease-state expert, account champion, and provide account management support.

You will call on LTC facilities, build relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurse practitioners, and care coordinators, develop territory plans, and navigate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling.
Launch experience strongly preferred.
Must live within the geography of assigned territory.

Responsibilities

Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
Engage with LTC care teams through virtual and live calls.
Build relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, and care staff.
Develop territory business plans and account plans to exceed goals.
Navigate payer policies and prior authorizations.
Communicate territory activity to management.
Manage promotional budget within assigned spend.
Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
Ensure patient access through services and savings programs.
