Job summary
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager (SAM) to drive LTC commercial activities for an assigned geography. You will call on LTC teams, build relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, and care staff, and develop territory plans to exceed goals.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, LTC experience, and strong account management and launch knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
- Launch experience strongly preferred.
- Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
- Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
- Develop territory business plans including account plans for LTC facilities.
- Promote labeling in a comprehensive, ethical manner per guidelines.
- Develop relationships by understanding customer needs and payer policies.
- Navigate Market Access and reimbursement processes including programs like cover my meds.
