Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities within an assigned geography, executing marketing strategies to ensure a successful launch and meaningful patient impact.

The SAM will serve as a disease-state expert and account specialist, developing territory plans and relationships across LTC care teams. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales with LTC or account-based selling experience, launch

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club performance.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under accelerated timelines.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC product adoption and call on LTC care teams.
• Build relationships across psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses, and LTC staff.
• Develop territory business plans and achieve quarterly/annual goals.
• Navigate payer policies and patient access processes.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and medical to optimize outcomes.
• Provide timely territory activity reports and feedback to leadership.
