Qualifications

• Licensure as LPN; BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• 2+ years preferred? (from context, LPN >1yr)
• College diploma: Licensed Practical Nurse (Required).

Responsibilities

• Passes all medications, hangs IV piggybacks and fluids (excluding IV Push meds).
• Charts assessments on assigned patients after RN initial assessment.
• Charts care plans opened by RN and coordinates with physicians/APPs.
• Complete trach care as needed; insert/care for NG tube and feedings.
• Care for ostomy and provide discharge education.
