Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Belleville, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessments on admission and ongoing care. You will communicate significant changes to the IDT and families, document accurately, and participate in the care planning process.

Responsibilities include implementing nursing interventions, safe medication administration, and IV care only if certified.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in LPN licensure.
• IV Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months.
• CPR/AED Certification required or willingness to obtain within six months.
• Ability to assess geriatric basic nursing care needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessments.
• Communicate changes in condition to the IDT and families.
• Document assessments accurately and timely; participate in care planning.
• Implement nursing interventions and ensure safe medication administration.
• Administer IV fluids only if IV certified and maintain clinical composure.
