Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Illinois is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide basic nursing care and collaborate with the IDT to assess residents on admission and ongoing basis. You will document assessments and participate in care planning, delivering safe interventions and timely communications.

Responsibilities include administering medications, following physician orders, and ensuring high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Practical Nurse in the state of employment
• Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and staff
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessments on admission and ongoing basis
• Accurately document assessments and communicate significant changes to the IDT
• Participate in care planning and update plans as interventions change
• Administer medications and treatments in a safe and timely manner
• Respond to call lights and assist with residents' ADLs as needed
