Job summary

Bethesda Health Group is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide foundational nursing care for residents, including assessments and care plan updates. The role requires strong communication and critical thinking to support the interdisciplinary team and families.

Qualifications

• LPN license in the state you will work.
• IV certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Current CPR/AED certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assist in assessing residents on admission and ongoing basis.
• Communicate significant changes in condition to the interdisciplinary team (IDT).
• Accurately document all assessments and update care plans as interventions change.
• Implement nursing interventions per the plan of care, including medication administration and treatments.
• Notify physicians promptly using the SBARR communication tool.
• Maintain composure during crises and participate in QAPI for problem resolution.
