Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Belleville, IL seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to provide basic nursing care, assess residents, and document care plans. You will coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely interventions for each resident.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse license required in state of employment.
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Current CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and ongoing resident assessments.
• Accurately document assessments and communicate significant changes to the IDT.
• Contribute to the care planning process and update plans as interventions change.
• Administer medications and treatments in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain compliance with policies and quality improvement processes.
