Job summary

Bethesda Health Group in Belleville, IL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our care team. Provides basic nursing care, documents assessments, supports care planning, and communicates with the IDT.

The role requires LPN licensure, current CPR/AED, IV certification or willingness to obtain, strong communication and critical-thinking skills, and ability to manage time and organize care for geriatric residents.

Qualifications

• Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
• IV Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Current CPR/AED Certification required or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
• Must be able to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, visitors and staff.
• Pay range: $26.96 - $43.95 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care and assessments for residents.
• Document assessments accurately and timely.
• Participate in care planning and update plans as interventions change.
• Administer medications and treatments safely.
• Notify physicians promptly and communicate changes to the IDT.
• Assist residents with ADLs and respond to call lights.
• Maintain composure during crises and adhere to Bethesda policies.
