Job summary

Wachter, Inc. is seeking self-motivated Low Voltage Service Technicians for service work at various locations across the United States, including Florida. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain cabling infrastructure in commercial settings, travel regionally, and sometimes stay overnight when required.

Qualifications

• Data Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Industry certifications such as BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning are a huge plus.
• Shifts vary daily including early mornings, nights and weekends.
• Regional travel within a 2–4 hour radius daily; longer travel occasionally.
• Experience in low voltage cabling, smart hands network replacement, telephony, CCTV, and POS equipment is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work.
• Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled according to safety regulations.
• Install cable support structures such as j-hooks and cable racks.
• Conduct tests to ensure new cable systems and devices are operational.
• Troubleshoot issues with the cable network.
