Job summary

Wachter is seeking self-motivated Low Voltage Service Technicians for service work at locations across the United States. The role involves installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cabling infrastructure in commercial settings, with shifts ranging from 0–4 hours to 10–14 hours and regional daily travel.

Applicants should have CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience, with industry certifications considered a big plus.

Qualifications

• Certifications in industry cabling standards are a plus.
• Experience with low voltage cable installation and testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cabling infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and limited conduit work.
• Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled per safety regulations.
• Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
• Test installed cable systems and components for operation.
• Troubleshoot cable network issues.
