Job summary

Wachter is accepting applications for Low Voltage Service Technicians for service work at various locations across the United States.

We seek self-motivated technicians who can work independently on installation projects, with long-term employment, competitive pay, and exceptional benefits for qualified candidates. The role involves data cabling, low voltage systems, and regional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Data Cable Technician with CAT5e, fiber optic, and network experience.
• Industry certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.
• Shifts vary; flexible for on-call, mornings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of cabling infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings, including drilling concrete walls and conduit work.
• Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled per safety regulations.
• Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct.
• Test newly installed cable systems and devices; troubleshoot cable networks.
