Wachter is hiring Low Voltage Service Technicians for service and installation projects across the United States. The role requires self-motivated, reliable technicians who can work independently and address problems to complete jobs.

Qualifications

• Data cable installation and testing experience.
• CAT5e, fiber optic, and basic network knowledge preferred.
• Industry certifications (BICSI, Systimax, Panduit, Beldon, Corning) are a huge plus.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including overnights, weekends, and travel.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain low voltage cabling infrastructure.
• Run cables in commercial buildings and drill through concrete walls as needed.
• Ensure cables are neatly tied and bundled per safety standards.
• Install cable support structures (j-hooks, racks, innerduct).
• Test newly installed cable systems and components for operation.
• Troubleshoot network cable issues.
