Job summary

IES is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop, deliver, and maintain training programs for low-voltage systems, with a focus on field coaching and craftsmanship. The role includes creating curriculum, conducting inspections, and supporting continuous improvement across projects.

Responsibilities include leading site quality plans, supporting First-of-Kind installations, and providing on-site technical support to project teams while maintaining safe, effective learning environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of training experience or related role.
• Five (5) years of leadership or quality experience in telecommunications, electrical or related field.
• Prefer a BICSI certified trainer.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to effectively use basic hand tools and understand materials, methods, and tools in construction.
• Willingness to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and reinforce trade-related instruction through classroom training and field coaching.
• Lead the development of site-specific Quality Plans and Site Startup processes.
• Support First-of-Kind installations, perform inspections, and obtain customer approvals.
• Manage scheduling, tracking, and completion of quality checklists and input into project platforms.
• Conduct daily field walks to identify quality issues and verify conformance to standards.
• Provide on-site technical support to project teams and drive process improvements.
