Job summary

IES is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support mission-critical construction by developing training programs for low-voltage systems. You will create curriculum, lead field coaching, and drive continuous improvement with operations leadership.

On-site role requiring travel within the regional territory and strong hands-on QA skills. The position emphasizes classroom and field training, development of site startup plans, and collaboration with project teams to ensure adherence to

Qualifications

  • Three years of training experience or related role.
  • Five years leadership/quality experience in telecom/electrical/construction.
  • BICSI certified trainer preferred.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
  • Meet company driving standards.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and interpret project documents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deliver, and reinforce trade-related instruction with classroom and field coaching.
  • Lead site-specific Quality Plans and Startup processes for each project.
  • Support First-of-Kind installations, inspections, and customer approvals.
  • Manage quality checklists input into IES/customer platforms and track progress.
  • Conduct daily field walks to identify quality issues and verify conformance.
  • Use weekly reports to communicate project health and risks to leadership.
  • Participate in project walkthroughs with customers and leadership.
