Job summary

IES Residential seeks an Electrical Quality Control Inspector to support QA/QC operations, ensuring projects, installations, and processes meet standards and regulatory requirements. This role collaborates with field personnel, project teams, leadership, and customers to identify quality concerns and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities include conducting inspections, maintaining records, and enforcing quality procedures across operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of quality control, inspections, construction operations, or related experience.
• Residential construction or service industry experience preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background checks and motor vehicle record checks.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections, audits, and evaluations to ensure compliance with standards and safety requirements.
• Monitor project activities and workmanship quality to verify adherence to procedures.
• Identify quality deficiencies, document findings, and communicate corrective actions to management and field personnel.
• Verify completion of corrective actions and perform follow-up inspections.
• Maintain quality control records, inspection documentation, and tracking systems.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, and leadership to resolve quality concerns and drive improvements.
• Support training initiatives related to quality standards and compliance.
