Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a capable Aptitude Superintendent 1 to plan, manage, and execute all aspects of assigned projects involving intelligent integration. You will lead low voltage trade partners, coordinate design/construction efforts, and ensure timely, profitable project completion under JE Dunn’s standards.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, budget tracking, schedule management, and effective communication with owners and teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience required.
• 5+ years managing Division 8/23/25/27/28 related systems preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment.
• Manages clients and project team communication for low voltage scopes.
• Coordinates design and construction efforts to meet standards and budgets.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develops work plans for low voltage subcontractors and self‑performed work.
• Controls project schedule with Aptitude Project Manager.
• Monitors budgets and cost reports for the project.
• Communicates project information to owners, design team, authorities, subcontractors.
• Coordinates with trades to install conduit, pathways, and back-box infrastructure.
