Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Aptitude Superintendent 1 to plan, manage and execute all aspects of assigned low-voltage construction projects, coordinating Aptitude trade partners and sequencing to meet goals under JE Dunn's standards.

This role drives safety culture, client communications, budget oversight, and schedule updates, with growth to Aptitude Superintendent 2 and opportunities across diverse projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years construction experience (Required).
• 5+ years Division 8/23/25/27/28 related systems experience (Required).
• 5+ years field supervision experience (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and mentors staff to maintain an injury‑free environment.
• Manages client and project team communications for low voltage scopes.
• Coordinates design and construction efforts to meet quality and budget standards.
• Oversees subcontracts, suppliers and QA/QC for projects of various sizes.
• Develops work plans, tracks progress, and updates project schedules.
• Monitors hours, costs and cost codes for accurate reporting.
• Coordinates with trades to install conduit, pathways and backboxes.
• Supports project closeouts and owner/architect interactions.
• Partners to build local workforce and plan project changes.
