Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking an Aptitude Superintendent 2 to lead complex low voltage projects within our Aptitude technology integration services. You will oversee intelligent trade partners, plan construction sequencing, and ensure timely, profitable project completion in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

You will manage safety culture, coordinate with owners and design teams, and drive schedules, budgets, and quality across the project lifecycle while building authentic

Qualifications

• 5+ years construction experience
• 5+ years experience in Division 8/23/25/27/28 related systems
• 3+ years field supervision experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of safety culture and injury-free environment.
• Communicate with client and project team; escalate issues.
• Coordinate design and construction for low voltage scopes.
• Manage staff, subcontractors, suppliers; QA/QC oversight.
• Develop work plans for low voltage subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Manage project schedule with Aptitude Project Manager.
• Track budgets and costs using cost reports.
• Coordinate with trades to install conduits, pathways, and back-box infrastructure.
• Assist in project closeouts; support owners and authorities; pre-plan with team.
• Identify risks and negotiate changes with owner/architect.
