Job summary

Selene Finance LP in Dallas, TX, seeks a Loss Mitigation Specialist to manage delinquent loan portfolios and act as SPOC for non-performing assets.

You will analyze financials, coordinate loss mitigation strategies (modifications, forbearance, short sales, deeds in lieu) and work with borrowers, attorneys, and title professionals to minimize foreclosures. This in-office role requires strong communication and timely case management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of mortgage servicing or loss mitigation experience.
• GSE loss mitigation experience preferred (FHLMC/FNMA).
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of delinquent loans (90+ days) and contact borrowers.
• Serve as SPOC for assigned accounts, including high-risk cases.
• Analyze financial information to determine loss mitigation options.
• Recommend and process workout solutions such as loan modifications, forbearance, and short sales.
• Ensure lien integrity by reviewing title searches and skip-tracing.
