Job summary

Selene Finance LP is seeking a Loss Mitigation Specialist to serve as the SPOC for a portfolio of non-performing mortgage assets. You will contact borrowers, negotiate loss mitigation options, and coordinate with attorneys, realtors, and investors to minimize foreclosure losses.

This is an in-office role with a 11a-8p schedule, plus two Saturdays per month. Experience with short sales, deeds in lieu, and cash for keys is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Two to four years' related experience and/or training required.
• GSE loss mitigation experience preferred, with emphasis on FHLMC and FNMA.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to department progress by understanding success measurements.
• Meets monthly individual and team goals and KPIs.
• Handles a portfolio of mortgage delinquent assets and minimizes foreclosure losses via loss mitigation options.
• Contacts and educates customers, attorneys, realtors and others on options available to resolve delinquencies.
• Analyzes financial situations and initiates the proper loss mitigation tools.
• Reviews title searches and daily reports to ensure status integrity.
