Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Territory Sales Business Manager for our Advanced Surgery division in the Los Angeles area. You will be on-location, promoting our hemostats, sealing, and tissue products while building trusted relationships with doctors and nurses.

You will lead efforts to meet clinical and economic needs, educate physicians, and support surgical teams with innovative solutions across multiple specialties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR 8+ years of operating room sales experience.
• Hospital-based selling experience in the operating room and experience leading a large territory are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical abilities.
• Must travel up to 50% and be willing to relocate within the territory; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Achieving sales quotas through the direct sale of all products and services.
• Growing awareness and educating physicians on on-label surgical procedures and product features.
• Calling on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and demonstrations.
• Maintaining effective relationships with customers and delivering on internal and external expectations.
• Monitoring sales against forecasts and assessing market potential for the territory.
• Coordinating with hospital administration, supply chain, materials management, and purchasing.
• Supporting colleagues and contributing to broader team efforts beyond own scope.
• Providing feedback to supervisor and marketing for programs, pricing changes, and product revisions.
• Working autonomously to achieve goals while remotely communicating with management.
