Prudential Financial, Inc. seeks an experienced Disability Claims Specialist to join the Long-Term Disability Core Team.

You will act as a technical expert in complex claim evaluation, provide guidance to claim professionals, and support the Team Lead to maintain high-quality claim outcomes. The role emphasizes coaching, policy interpretation and collaboration across the claims block, with opportunities to influence decisions while the assigned claim professional retains ownership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Long-Term Disability claim management with technical expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of LTD policy provisions, medical and vocational considerations.
• Ability to coach and provide actionable feedback to claim professionals.

Responsabilités

• Serve as a Long Term Disability technical expert to guide claim professionals.
• Provide technical guidance on policy interpretation and claim strategy.
• Coach professionals through complex scenarios and improve claim quality.
• Analyze claim activity to identify trends and risks, and coach accordingly.
• Support development and delivery of technical training for the team.
