Job summary

Shionogi Inc. seeks an LTC Sales Account Manager to establish access and generate demand in Skilled Nursing Facilities, Nursing Homes, and LTC Pharmacies within the Dallas/Fort Worth territory.

You will educate prescribing HCPs, consultants and facility admins on clinical value and appropriate use of our products, while building relationships with LTC provider associations and advocacy groups. This is senior field sales with travel emphasis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, including in long-term care settings
• Minimum of three (3) years of pharmaceutical sales experience, most recently in LTC Account Manager or similar role
• Three to five years of clinically focused experience in a long-term care setting
• Experience calling on SNF/ALF/LTC pharmacies or consultant pharmacist networks
• Experience building rapport and relationships within the long-term setting to expand awareness and utilization
• Documented demand generation, performance and achievement in Long Term Care

Responsibilities

• Establish clinical understanding, access and sales demand within LTC sector
• Call on LTC facilities and affiliated entities daily with HCPs, Directors and staff
• Meet/exceed target number of account and customer calls per day
• Analyze territory data to develop target maps and plans
• Develop professional relationships with key stakeholders
• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets
• Execute brand sales strategies and maintain messaging
• Manage and grow existing LTC accounts
• Collaborate with reimbursement and market access
• Maintain CRM documentation and reports
• Travel and cover territory as needed
• Maintain equipment and promotional materials
