Job summary

BEARCREEK in Grapevine, TX seeks a full-time Business Office Manager (Administrative) to support facility operations by maintaining business office systems and supervising staff.

The role requires understanding of skilled nursing billing and Medicaid processes, with strong Microsoft Office skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with preferred experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of skilled nursing billing and payment; proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Preferable one year of long term care facility experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtain managed care and Medi-Cal or Medicaid authorizations including bedholds.
• Assist with managing resident trust funds, including printing and distributing monthly statements.
• Supervise business office staff, including disciplinary measures as needed.
• Maintain census and report status changes.
• Attend stand-up meetings as requested by the Administrator.
• Assist with Medi-Cal or Medicaid applications.
• Prepare TARS as needed.
• Track Medi-Cal and Medicaid redeterminations.
• Participate in billing and payment processes including preparing bank deposits.
• Undertake collection activity for bad debts.
• Schedule and assign employees; follow up on work results.
