Job summary

Sysco is seeking a professional Freight Driver to serve customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse, operating a tractor-trailer, and delivering according to invoices and Sysco standards.

This Long-haul Linehaul role travels to PA, FL, OH and other states, with drivers often out 2–3 days at a time. You will follow DOT rules, complete required paperwork, and maintain safety and quality while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures timely delivery per route and invoices.
• Completes required paperwork per DOT regulations and company guidelines.
• Maintains safety protocols, proper temperatures, and vehicle maintenance records.
• Develops good relationships with customers and communicates route or loading issues to management.
• Works assigned schedules and may work overtime or weekends to meet customer needs.
