Job summary

Sysco is seeking a driver to safely and efficiently transport products from the warehouse to customer locations, adhering to company standards and invoicing requirements.

The Long-haul Linehaul role dispatches to PA, FL, OH and other states, with trips lasting 2 to 3 days. A valid Class A CDL is required; DOT logs, inspections and safety protocols must be followed. Overnight and weekend work is common.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations on assigned routes.
• Completes DOT logs, inspections, and other required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Maintains proper temperatures and food safety protocols during transport.
• Notifies management of route, trailer, or loading issues.
• Operates a 3-axle tractor with a 45'–48' trailer and uses an onboard computer.
• Works overnight schedules and weekends as needed to meet customer needs.
