Job summary

Sysco is seeking a tractor-trailer driver to safely transport product from the warehouse to customer locations according to invoices and company standards. This long-haul Linehaul position travels to PA, FL, OH and a few other states, typically 2–3 days away from home.

You will operate a 3 axle tractor with a 45'–48' trailer, complete DOT logs, maintain safety protocols, and develop good customer relationships while maintaining regular attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1 year tractor-trailer experience preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL and insurable to operate a vehicle.
• Understanding of DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from warehouse to customer on route, with timely delivery.
• Complete paperwork according to DOT and company guidelines.
• Maintain proper food safety and operating standards.
• Communicate route changes and loading issues to management.
• Operate equipment including tractor-trailer and onboard computer.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance; overtime as needed.
