Job summary

Sysco is seeking a professional driver to safely transport product from the warehouse to customer locations, adhering to invoices and company standards. You will operate a tractor-trailer on long-haul routes with overnight travel and multi-state coverage.

The position involves trips to PA, FL, OH and other states, with 2–3 days out at a time. You will maintain logs, perform safety checks, and ensure timely, courteous service to customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 1 year tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Completion of tractor-trailer driving school accepted in addition to high school diploma.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to customer locations per route and loads/unloads as required.
• Completes all paperwork per DOT logs, inspections, maintenance reports and invoices.
• Maintains food safety protocols and proper temperatures in the delivery vehicle.
• Adheres to safety policies and reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Operates equipment including tractor-trailer, trailers, and onboard computer; communicates with customers.
