Job summary

RRD is seeking a shipping department associate to support daily materials handling, receiving, loading, unloading, and shipping of printed products. You will ensure conformity to customer specs, service levels, and safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include packing, preparing bills of lading, maintaining records, and operating forklifts and other material handling equipment while communicating with customers, suppliers, and production teams to optimize costs and

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED and 2+ years in shipping/manufacturing support.
• Solid knowledge of materials tracking and inventory systems.
• Strong communication across departments and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping with materials movement, receiving, loading, unloading, and transporting printed products.
• Pack, label, prepare bills of lading, and attach shipping instructions.
• Verify goods against documents and maintain records of received and shipped items.
• Operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and production to ensure safe, cost-effective shipping.
• Attend production meetings and coordinate with other departments as needed.
