Job summary

RRD is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to support daily materials movement, receiving, loading, unloading, and order filling for printed products. You will ensure shipments meet customer specs and service levels, and collaborate with teams to keep processes efficient.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, 1+ years in manufacturing/operations, basic computer skills, and strong written and verbal communication to maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment.
• Must follow applicable policies, procedures, regs, and program objectives.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes to confirm production specifications are met.
• Maintain relationships with employees and direct them to the appropriate manager for policy questions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and procedures; report problems to management.
• Inspect products and shipments to verify conformance to specifications; review/approve samples and shipments as needed.
• Assist management with Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Maintain records, compile standard reports, and perform routine clerical tasks.
