Job summary

RR Donnelley & Sons is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Associate to support daily shipping department activities. You will handle materials movement, receiving, loading, unloading, and preparing shipments for carriers such as FedEx and UPS, ensuring accuracy and adherence to customer specifications.

Your role includes data entry, maintaining records, and coordinating with suppliers, production, and customer service to minimize costs while meeting service levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Administrative/operational support in shipping/manufacturing operations.
• Solid knowledge of materials tracking and inventory control systems.
• Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication across departments and attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Performs shipping and receiving duties with carriers and vendors.
• Check goods against shipping documents, prepare bills of lading, and attach shipping instructions.
• Unloading, loading, and staging materials and products for shipment.
• Maintain records of goods received and shipments.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
