Job summary

RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions. As a Logistics Specialist at RXO, you will be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination.

The role requires precise data handling, load tracking, and proactive communication with account managers, drivers, receivers, and customers to ensure loads meet delivery times and arrive in good condition. Shift: Monday–Friday 3:00pm–12:00am.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience or equivalent.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry is helpful.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders.
• Update account managers on problem loads and actions taken; update receivers and customers on status of loads.
• Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify loads arrived on time and in good condition.
• Take check calls from drivers; validate load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
• Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation.
• Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept/decline loads per account manager directions.
• Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers.
