RXO, Inc. in Memphis seeks a Specialist, Logistics to provide logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination across our network.

You will coordinate with railroads and carrier partners to plan, schedule, and track freight movements, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining accurate data for billing. This role offers growth opportunities and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• 1 year of logistics experience.
• General knowledge of the transportation industry.
• Experience writing routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with railroads and carrier partners to plan, schedule, and track freight movements.
• Communicate with dispatch teams to ensure on-time movement of loads.
• Monitor pickups, interchanges, and deliveries; verify progress and resolve delays.
• Take check calls from drivers to keep loads on schedule.
• Validate load data prior to marking shipments as delivered for accounting.
• Investigate overages, shortages, and damages; coordinate resolutions with carriers.
• Request appointments and reschedules for carrier appointments and manage equipment availability.
• Provide routing instructions to drivers and coordinate with rail partners.
